Hearty Welcome to the November 2023 Issue of the NELTA ELT Forum! The Editorial Board anticipates that our valued readers will find the articles worth a read. We are eager to receive constructive feedback as there is always room for improvement. This e-zine of NELTA serves as a platform for teachers, researchers, and all interested scholars who would like to share their lived experiences at the grassroots by exploring the ground realities. This collection of scholarly articles offers some insights on collaborating and thriving as an English language teacher navigating new avenues for continuing professional growth via a growth mindset.

The present issue incorporates scholarly articles by dedicated ELT practitioners. Kalpana Dahal, Mahesh Singh Saud, and Rejina KC have shared their experiences and ideas on prominent ELT issues. Mrs. Dahal, in her article, explores the teachers’ experiences and perceptions of getting involved with professional organizations at the grassroots level. Mr. Saud explores how a lesson plan serves as a road map for a subject teacher to track their classroom teaching-learning process. Mrs. KC unearths the essence of a prominent book in ELT that the development of teachers’ professional life and real-life experience supports teacher expertise which is certainly a means of enhancing teacher quality and effectiveness of teaching for better learning outcomes.
