The U.S. Embassy-sponsored English by Radio Program started on August 30, 2013 on five radio stations throughout Nepal.. The U.S. Embassy, in collaboration with the Nepal English Language Teachers’ Association (NELTA), produced the 52-segment English language program.
The goal of this weekly program was to help teachers and students to improve their English language proficiency. The statons which aired the program were:
Nepalbani FM (94.9 MHz), Ilam: Every Friday, 8:00pm
Sindhuligadhi FM (92 MHz), Sindhuli: Every Friday, 8:15pm
Radio Sagarmatha FM (102.4 MHz), Kathmandu: Every Friday and Sunday 9:15pm
Krishnasar (94 MHz), Nepalgunj, Banke: Every Friday 8:00pm
Fulbari FM (93.2 MHz), Tikapur, Kailali: Every Friday 7:30pm
